Why does Sola Skriptura seem not consistent?
First and foremost, this writing is not intended to attack any christian denomination. It is my honest writing of what I've learnt so far in my years of study. I have no bad experiences with my former Church, or even with my friendship circles there. However, I find an urge to express my thoughts, of what I may be lacking in my journey of faith, which is to find the solemn relationship with Christ in the doctrine of Sola Scriptura.
Sola Scriptura was a latin term for sole biblical use as church authority. It is to state that no certain patriarch is above the principles stated by the bible. During its development, it changed many courses in church which were constructed by the Church Fathers, such as the established 7 sacraments into two or more sacraments which are different from what the early apostolic churches have established. And ironically, it also canonized another bible which was outside of the canon authority — The Masoretic Text.
Masoretic Text was not created by any Church Council. It was arguably claimed to come from Jamnia Council in 90A.D., by Jewish Elders who want to create a solid biblical canon. These elders were the successors of Rabbis who fought Christianity, and for that reason, Masoretic was formulated based on Jewish understanding and translation to the TaNaKh or the original biblical texts. In those days, there was another scripture which pre-existed before Masoretic, and that was the Septuagint. This text was approved later days in Carthage council, which included the protestant apocryphal books, which were Tobit, Judith, Maccabees, and Edras. All were written and canonized by The Codex Canonum Ecclesiae Africanae.
Distinct from Septuagint, Masoretic Text deleted many books and texts, altering many meanings to unfit the Messianic Prophecy of Christ. Occasionally, many Christians have been quoting these texts which were altered by Jamnian Council, such as:
Psalms 40:6 (KJV) Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

We could see how the bible was altered by masoretic text creators, which has finally become the international bible. If the modern old testament was being used until today, I'm not sure christianity will incline, since excessive information on the Internet will give us more supportive statement that Christianity has been somehow altered by the apostles, meanwhile it wasn't supposed to be understood in this manner.
Summing up this written information, we could conclude that we have no original hebrew translation, which is as close as the canons stated by Synod of Carthage in Africa, 397. Whosoever cited the Carthage council will find out that Christianity has universally approved that it was the church who stated canons, not the other way around.
